Pink Shirt Day
Today was Pink Shirt Day. We started the day with a discussion about how we can show kindness. I read the book:

Find a Heart, Share a Heart
Today, for outdoor learning we went on a heart hunt. The afternoon started with a story:
Th children then hunted and found hearts on the trail up to the forest. Once in the forest, we talked about how it felt to find hearts. The children then worked on passing on those good feelings by drawing hearts and writing messages for others to find.

Math; Measurement
In math, the children have been investigating measurement. They are using non standard units to measure and compare. Today's task was to measure, compare and record. They used unfix cubes and elements form our story boxes.
