Diwali Celebration

Today we celebrated Diwali. In the morning the students came into a class lit with tea lights and coloured rangolis.  In the afternoon we eww fortunate to have some wonderful parents came in to talk about Diwali.  The children were then able to make a rangoli design using rice and investigate and try on some jewelry.  We also sampled some traditional treats.  Yum!
