Out Door Learning

The focus for todays lessons was bugs and their habitats.  Connecting with last weeks wonder.... "Where do bugs go in the winter?",  we read a story and then the children made winter homes for insects.  While the children were working on that we saw a woodpecker busily looking for food.  The children were fascinated to see how hard it had to work to find a meal.
