Learning at Home May 4-8

The big idea this week was cycles.  The children learned about the life cycle of the dandelion.  They wrote about their favourite animal and what they would do with three wishes.  They listened to stories and then sequenced the story.  In math the focus was counting and skip counting.  Some children also did forced perspective and drew an orca for art .  I also read some lovely mother's day poems.  It was a good week!
