This week the classes looked at rocks. We began by playing a game called Touch Stones. The children put their hands behind their backs and were given a rock to hold. Using only the sense of touch the got to know their rock and then had to describe and identify it by sight.
After sharing a story called If you Find a Rock, the children were given the task of finding their own "pocket rock" to take back to school where we will be continuing our investigation.
