Fun Day

Fun was has by all today at Fun Day.  We started the day in our colour groups, learning the cheer and then paraded around Loutet Park.  After returning to he school, we went down to the gravel field where cheers were shared and judged.  The children took a break for recess and then headed to their stations.  The grade ones choices were; bingo, bowling, hockey, musical chairs, hopscotch, face painting, bubbles and bracelet making.  After lunch classes participated in a hula-hoop contest and the grade 7s had a tug war against the teachers... we lost.

Kindergaten Buddies

Today was kindergarten orientation for the new Ks so the current Ks came to our class for an hour. The grade one each had a K buddy.  They drew and played together.  All the grade ones were great caring partners to the kindergarten children.
