Today
Today was another busy day in grade one. We worked on the double ee sound and then I read a story call Not a Box. The children then made their own book following the same frame. Their books went home today so they could read it to you.

Goodbye Summer
Today we said goodbye to summer. We started with a story and then each made a big book page listing what we would no longer be able to do, wear, and eat. After recess the children looked at books on their beach towels and then I shared a watermelon poem and the students had a watermelon snack.
