100's Day Celebration

Today we celebrated the 100th day of school.  We started the day with 100 day stations.  The children were divided up onto groups and visited each class in the open area.  They made crowns, played
Race to 100, drew what they will look like when they are 100 and made a banner with 100 handprints. Before lunch the children shared and counted their 100 collections and then made a gorp snack of 100 bits of food.

Science: Sound

On Monday the class learned that we hear sound through vibrations.  To demonstrate this, the children made a Kazoo and happily tested out the sound wave theory.
