Artist For Kids Field Trip

Today we went to see the AFK gallery.  The children learned about the artist Tiko Kerr.  They did a number of activities in the gallery  including matching Tiko Kerr's collages to his paintings, representing themselves in poses that they felt the image portrayed and finding the piece of art that their teacher would like and telling the reason.  After  the gallery tour the children had the opportunity to create a piece of art inspired by Tiko Kerr.
